Clarion Call

Christ came in the name of freedom
To release the fetters of sin's slaves,
And to shepherd those in the shadows
Into the glorious light of His love.

But now that He has ascended,
He has called us to continue the task;
A role we surely feel unfit to play,
Yet one, in His strength, we must fulfill.

Under-shepherds,
Arise!
The darkness merely thickens
As we hesitate.
