The Visual Feast

Rich russet and gold,
Bright scarlet and green,
Changes we behold
Or those yet unseen,

The Great God of love
Chooses to bestow
These gifts from above
For all men below.

Yet are we grateful
For the joys we view
Or blindly prideful
And think them our due?
