Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Is our Christian walk one of
Sitting on the bench while others serve,
Waiting for life's storms to pass,
And wishing we were somewhere else?

Or is our faith lived out by
Sitting at His feet in daily communion,
Waiting for His direction in all things,
And wishing to serve Him wherever He leads?
