A Month of Proverbs - Day 1

Dear Soul Strokes readers,

By the time you read this I will be winging my way back to Africa. Two of our older children and I will be returning to Dakar, Senegal, for the majority of the month of June in order to pack up or sell the rest of our belongings before returning to Oklahoma to prepare for our new ministry in the States.

The Senegalese love their proverbs, and so in keeping with that spirit and to carry this blog forward during the weeks we are away, I have selected a month's worth of proverbs from the Bible to hopefully inspire you in the days to come. As you read each day's entry, I pray you will be touched anew by the message of God's word to mankind. Please feel free to pray for us while we are gone. Thanks!
